Seattle Food Blogger, ex-English teacher, and all around wonderful person Shauna James Ahern gets a write up today in the Seattle PI.
She is vibrantly, passionately healthy, a connoisseur of ingredients such as wild salmon and summer peaches and chestnut-flower honey and Spanish paprika. She’s still a teacher of sorts — directly when it comes to cooking and writing, indirectly when it comes to life. And she’s an author, about to start touring to promote her new book, “Gluten-Free Girl: How I Found the Food That Loves Me Back … & How You Can Too” (Wiley, $24.95).
The Girl also has another new name, at least a new surname. She’s now Shauna James Ahern, and that’s part of her gluten-free journey too.
Woot! Go Shauna!
