Kitchen time and the lack thereof

Just a quick question – When unable to get into the kitchen to cook for a long while, do you find yourself a little depressed?

Don’t get me wrong, if I cook every night, it becomes just another task I have to do in this game we call life. But if I can get into the kitchen to cook three times a week, then I find that I’m still insprired and curious, and the cooking becomes more of a joy than a task.

This week, I have made nothing except for some short bread. I have had responsibilities that have prevented me from doing anything more. Oddly, I find myself looking forward to tomorrow, where I will finally have some “me time”.

Is this common or is this my own issue?
