“I don’t think that was prosciutto. This is tasso!” (It was prosciutto).
“Ooo, I love the use of black pepper in this.” (No black pepper, but there was ginger).
“Oh look! Peas!” (it was edamame).
Three things I learned from this chef/cook -
1. I don’t want to eat at their restaurant.
2. It pays to look at the menu.
3. Even chefs/cooks have difficulty placing tastes and flavors at times. Don’t be afraid to be wrong (unless you run a professional kitchen).
